HOW TO MEASURE: Dresses & Tops - You will only need to know your bust measurement, which is across the fullest part of your chest, not your bra size. Most are adjustable 10 inches, so just make sure you are in that range (if the dress is smaller on you, more back will be exposed. If bigger, then less back shows). For apron dresses, just make sure you are not smaller than the measurement given. Skirts - The skirts must be able to pull over your hips, so make sure the waist size is as large as your hips. It will then cinch down quite a bit to fit your waist. (The skirts will cinch down alot & will just gather, so you can wear a skirt much larger than your hips as well.) For apron skirts, just make sure your waist is not smaller than the measurement given. The dresses & tops are adjustable up to 10 inches around the fullest part of the chest, so they will fit many sizes. However, they do not work well for girls with large chests. The bodices are around 6 inches tall, so large chests will start to fall under the bodice & it is not pretty. It is hard to say what is too large, but if you are a size D, you should measure the height of your chest before you buy. To find your hem lenght, Grab a measuring tape & a friend, and measure from where you want the top and bottom of the piece to sit. (For the top of the dress, pretend you are wearing a strapless top) The measurements I use for the skirts are for people that wear their skirts low around the hips. If you wear your skirt high on your waist, add 2 inches. |
